Eco Community Fund

To realize the Eco Chefs™ mandate of giving back, the company has created a dedicated charitable program called the Eco-Community Fund. The Eco Chefs™ team has chosen Halton Food for Thought as its inaugural charity to launch the Eco Community Fund. Then each year, Eco Chefs will ask its customers to nominate deserving charities or locally driven initiatives that they feel is building better, healthier communities. The Eco-Chefs team will then shortlist the nominations and ask the community to determine via an online public vote, which 6 charities will receive support from the Eco Community Fund that year. Eco Chefs will provide monetary support along with goods-in-kind, and every two months they will feature and promote each cause in their stores.
